Jewish Dating: Commitment Phobia

July 30th, 2019 Blog Writer

At some point in your life, you may have been in a relationship with a commitment phobic.   At the beginning you are the center of their universe, it is all about you! As the relationship progresses and commitment expectations approach, they start pulling away. Even if you love each other, commitment seems impossible. They typically struggle to make important decisions, and the more you pressure them to commit, the more fear and anxiety pulls them  away. It could be a nightmare! Either you are dealing with someone who suffers from deep  emotional damage, or someone who fears missing out on better opportunities, or both.

Following your gut feeling is best. Why waste your time with a commitment phobic? The longer you stay, the more involve you get, the harder it is to break away.
